Tips for your portrait sitting

The key to a great portrait is simple. By following a few basic steps your portrait will become a beautiful family heirloom to be enjoyed by generations to come.

Wear solid colors. Kaki & white look great on our white background. Some other ideas would be denim & white, denim and black. (refer to sample page for examples) Try to have guys shirts long sleeve and without logos.
Be yourself. Do your hair and makeup as you would normally wear it.
Be prepared to take your shoes & socks off. This will make for a relaxed and uncluttered portrait. Shoes become distracting in a finished portrait.
Bring your smiles.
